Wednesdays 7pm-9pm for 6 weeks starting on 24th April

Our new clay studio is now open and we look forward to welcoming you our clay classes. This is a 6 week course aimed at all levels of ability. During the course you will learn how to make different shaped pots and vessels using moulds or the wheel, how to make sprigs (small 3D designs that you add to your clay piece as a decoration) and the art of sgraffito into clay, with plenty of time for painting your pieces with bright glazes. A tutor will show you techniques and teach you what you need to know learn some practical clay skills that can be applied to many different projects. The course includes firing and glazing the clay. It also includes 10kg of soft white earthenware clay and all materials and tools.

The course cost £150 for 6 weeks. Free tea and coffee is available.
