Enjoy learning how to make this clay mirror. Learn how to roll the clay, cut and attach different bird and leaf shapes and add details. The clay will be dried and fired in the kiln and ready to be painted with glazes in two weeks time (19th May). Once it has been painted it will then be fired in the kiln again and ready for collection in one week.

Enjoy learning how to paint this large blueberry platter using rubber stamps. Choose your own colour way and paint the middle using a banding wheel. The platter will be fired in the kiln and ready to collect in one week.

This is a great day for anyone who wants to have a real crack at throwing clay on a potter’s wheel. Practice makes perfect, so enjoy spending all day learning how to throw pots until you make one you're proud of! This will be a small class of people and is suitable for beginners. Your top three pots (chosen by you) will be fired in the kiln and ready for collection in 2 weeks. If you would like to book into the studio to paint them with glazes and have them fired again it is £6 per pot.

This workshop costs £100. Free tea and coffee available, please bring a packed lunch/snacks. There are aprons and towels but best to wear old clothes and shoes!

Enjoy learning how to paint leaves and flowers onto this vase. A good class if you would like to learn different brushstrokes and how to load the paint brush with glazes to create relaxed hand painted designs. The vase will be fired and ready for collection in one week.

Enjoy learning how to paint this stoneware plate using a black and red glaze. Spots are sponged with a white glaze. The magic happens in the kiln as the colours meld together to form this beautiful pattern. The plate will be fired in the kiln and ready to collect in one week.

Enjoy learning how to paint this modern textured vase using crackle glazes. Start by roll glazing the inside with a colour of your choice and learn how to apply a thick white glaze which crackles in the kiln. A fun, creative class with step by step instructions and demonstrations. The vase will be fired in the kiln and ready to collect in one week.

Our new clay studio is now open and we look forward to welcoming you our clay classes. This is a 6 week course aimed at all levels of ability. During the course you will learn how to make different shaped pots and vessels using moulds and how to make sprigs (small 3D designs that you add to your clay piece as a decoration) and the art of sgraffito into clay, with plenty of time for painting your pieces with bright glazes. You are also welcome to have a go on the potters wheel. A tutor will show you techniques and teach you practical clay skills that can be applied to many different projects. The course includes firing and glazing the clay. It also includes 10kg of soft white earthenware clay and all materials and tools.

The course cost £150 for 6 weeks. Free tea and coffee is available.
